James L. Morris, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away January 10, 2021. Jim was born in El Dorado, Arkansas on September 25, 1946. He graduated from Citronelle High School and served in the Alabama National Guard (Dixie Division Band.) He was a member of Mobile County Sheriff’s Posse and was an avid fisherman. He was also a member of Woodridge Baptist Church and after several overseas assignments, he retired from Evonik.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford B. Morris and Marcie J. Morris. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lavern Morris; one son, Jason Todd Morris; two sisters, Gloria Jean Craft and Dorothy Lynn Warford (David); and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held for James at 1pm Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Pine Crest Cemetery in Citronelle, Alabama, with Rev. Garry Harred officiating.
