Albert Lee Byrd, II, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018. He was 27 years old. Albert enjoyed spending time with his family and watching football games, especially the Auburn Tigers and Philadelphia Eagles. He also enjoyed hunting with his dad in his spare time. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Brittany Byrd; parents, Albert and Kerri Byrd; siblings, Whitney Reed (Dusty) and Blair McDonald (Aubrey); eight nephews, Gabriel, Ashton, Lincoln, Kamden, Nelson, Trevor, JT, and Noah; niece, Aubrey; best friend, Dale Rivers; special brother-cousins, Joseph A. Byrd, II and Stephen Snow; and many other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for Albert 6-9pm Friday, October 19, 2018, at Freeman Funeral Home. The rosary will be spoken at 5:45pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be held 10am Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Saint Theresa Catholic Church with Rev. John Coghlan, celebrant. Burial will follow in Byrd Cemetery.
