Alfred Lee Green, 69, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away, Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. Alfred retired after 27 years from the United States Army and retired after 43 years at Huntsman (formerly Ciba Geigy). Alfred was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. Alfred was an avid golfer, loved hunting, fishing and worked with Citronelle Youth Football and Baseball for 17 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Turner and Eunice Green. Left to cherish his memory, his wife of 47 years, Glenda P. Green; sons, Christopher Lee Green (Connie), Douglas Alfred Green and Philip Kerry Green, Sr.; grandchildren, David Barreras, Crystal Roberts, Justin Green, Ryan Green, Briana Parlier, Kerri Green, Marissa Green, Morgan Green, Philip Green, Jr., Jacqueline Green, and Tracen Scolin; and great grandchildren, DJ Barreras, Maddie Barreras, Cami Barreras, Carter Moon, MJ Martin, and Lily Martin; siblings, Robert Samuel Green and Katherine Beatrice Thomas, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, November 23, 2016, from 10am until the 11am funeral service at Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Turnerville Cemetery in Turnerville, Alabama.
