Alton Turner

Alton Turner, 77, a native of Jasper, Alabama and resident of Calvert, Alabama passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018. Alton honorably served in the United States Army and was an electrician with IBEW Local 505. He was an avid Alabama sports fan and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his two daughters, Renee Searby and Sharon Turner. Those left to cherish his memory is wife of 26 years, Tommie Sue Turner; children, Teresa Miller (John), Penny Goodson, Paul Perry (Glenda), Tammy Lee (Tim) and Sibley Perry; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brothers, William Turner (Charlotte) and Barney Turner; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 12pm funeral service on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Pickard officiating.
