Alton Zander Weaver, born on February 17, 2002, left this world far too soon on September 28, 2024, at the University of South Alabama Hospital. He was 22 years old. Renowned for his all-around good nature, Alton was a person who truly loved life. He possessed a remarkable sense of humor and a heart of gold that endeared him to all who knew him.
Alton’s greatest pride was his family, which he cherished deeply. He is survived by his beloved wife, Abbigail Rivers Weaver, and their unborn son, Alton Zander Weaver, Jr., who will carry on his legacy. Alton is also survived by his father, Zan Weaver (Barbara); grandmother, Virginia Jenkins; sisters, KK Ketchum (Jesse), Paula Weaver, Donna Villegas (Joel), Rene' King, Kylee Rivers, and Tiffany Weaver; and brothers, Dristin Weaver and Zan Weaver.
Alton’s love extended further to his nieces, LeAnn Chestang (Ronald), Demi Overton (Lavern), Victoria Villegas, Elizabeth Villegas, Chloe Weaver, Kaylee Eller, Melody Jordan, and Autumn Jordan; great nieces and nephews, Kason, Jayden, Kaiston and Journee; and many other relatives and friends.
In his spare time, Alton found joy in the great outdoors. He had a strong passion for hunting and fishing, activities that allowed him to connect with nature and share moments with those he loved. Alton was a dog lover, finding companionship and joy in his two beloved dogs, Remi and Tundra. His adventurous spirit and zest for life will always be remembered by those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Alton was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Jenkins, and his grandpa, Elie Jenkins. Their memories will surely continue to resonate in the hearts of those he left behind.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM funeral service on Monday, October 7, 2024 at Reed's Chapel Church with Bro. Jimmy Sullivan and Bro. Chad Orso officiating. Burial will follow in Reed's Chapel Cemetery.
In his short time, Alton Zander Weaver had an undeniable impact on the lives he touched. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a reminder to embrace every moment. He will be deeply missed, yet fondly remembered, by all who were fortunate enough to call him family and friend.
