Amy Eileen Allday, a lifelong resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020, at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. She was 61 years old. Amy loved going shopping and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Adrian and Gussie Lofton; and brothers, Mack Albert Byrd and Robert Byrd. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Robert Allday, Sr.; children, Samantha Clark, Peggy Driver (L.W.), Robert Allday, Jr. (Liz), and Hattie Weaver; grandchildren, Chelsea Johnston (M.J.), Kaylee Thompson (Willie), Tyler Clark (Jenny), Christian Stephenson, Greg Reed, Max Miller, Justin Miller, Savannah Bowick (Chris), Melissa Allday, Trey Allday, and Adrianna Driver; great grandchildren, Londyn, Kash, Caroline, and Ben; siblings, Herman Lofton (Cindy), Elsie Weaver (Sebron), Eve Holloway (Ellis), Adrian Lofton, Jr. (Shirley), Mary Alice Byrd, Rita Byrd, Zack Byrd, Steve Lofton (Susie), Delia Rivers (Manny), Jackie Byrd, Jack Lofton, Neal Lofton (Misty), and Lora Lofton (Wayne); sisters in law, Jenna Vest, Mary Byrd, and Glenda Byrd; uncle, Zenner Orso; aunts, Rosie Rivers, Annie Weaver, and Genny Byrd; special friend, Levert Lofton; and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 11am until the 12pm Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday, August 04, 2020, at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Rev. John Coghlan, celebrant.
