Andrea Ruth Byrd

Andrea Odom Byrd, a native of Citronelle, Alabama, and a resident of Vinton, Louisiana, passed away Thursday, March 09, 2017, at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital in Sulphur, Louisiana. She was 62 years old. Andrea was born on March 26, 1954, to Warren and Flora Odom in Mobile, Alabama. Andrea retired from owning and operating a wholesale plant distributing company. In Her spare time Andrea enjoyed cooking, crafting, and gardening. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Trudie Gibbs, Janie Byrd, and James Eddie Byrd; grandchildren, Breanne Adams, Pazleigh Martin, Hunter Gardner, Kara Evans, Evan Bunting, and James Glover; great grandchildren, Kayleigh, SeanCarter, Landry, and Zeplynn; a very special friend, Al Kibodeaux; and many other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for Andrea from 6pm until 9pm on Monday, March 13, 2017, at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10am on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Freeman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Hunter Gardner, Evan Bunting, James Glover, Jeremy Odom, Jody Odom, and Matt Byrd.
