Arlin T. “A.T.” Parnell, 85, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Providence Hospital. A.T. was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War. He retired as a computer analyst and enjoyed fishing in his spare time. A.T. loved country music and in his younger days he played a “mean” Les Paul. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia “Pat” Parnell; daughter, Linda Parnell Mason; son, Charles Edward Parnell; grandson, Dustin Kyle Puckett; and sister, Dorothy Urban. Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Carol P. Wilson (Gary); granddaughter, Summer Mason; grandson, Landon Mason; two great grandchildren, Lucien and Everett; brothers, Donald Parnell (Dolores) and Marlin “Red” Parnell (Maxine); nephew and his buddy, Lane Parnell; former son-in-law, Steve Mason; longtime friend, Donza; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the 11am Funeral Service on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Freeman Funeral Home with Bro. Robert S. "Bob" Younge officiating.
