Armon Dale Reed

Armon Dale Reed, a resident of McIntosh, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, February 01, 2022. He was 56 years old. Armon was a member of Sims Chapel Holiness Church and he enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. Armon also loved singing for the Lord at church or anywhere he felt the need. Most of all, Armon loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandkids and his wife. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Armon was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Lettie Reed; and sister, Colleen Reed.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 38 years, Libbie Reed; children, Saprina Maddox (Nick), Heather Powell (Brad), Sydni Newburn; grandchildren, Peighton, Parker, Blandon, Rylan, and Levi; siblings, James Reed, Lester Reed (Charlette), Brett Reed (Tammy), and Tammy Newburn (Wayne); a host of nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

A wake will be held for Armon beginning at 6pm Thursday, February 03, 2022, at Sims Chapel Holiness Church. The funeral service will be held at 2pm Friday, February 04, 2022, at Sims Chapel Holiness Church with Rev. Willie Long and Rev. B.J. Long officiating. Burial will follow in Hillspring Cemetery.
