Arthur Young Hearn, Jr.

Arthur Young Hearn, Jr., 91, a native of Citronelle, AL former resident of Winston-Salem, NC and Mobile, AL passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014 at his residence in Fairhope, AL. He was retired vice-president of H.T. Hearn Engraving Company in Winston-Salem, NC, served as President of the Piedmont Civitan Club and served as deacon of First Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Upon moving to Mobile he became a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church. Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Lambe Hearn. He is survived by four sisters, Evelyn Fortenberry, Opal Dougherty, Virginia Hobbs, and Lynn Machovoe; one brother, Richard Hearn; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be held 11am, Wednesday July 2, 2014 at the family plot at Pine Crest Cemetery in Citronelle. Online obituary may be viewed at www.freemancitronelle.com.
