Artie Joyce Bentley

Artie Joyce Bentley, a native of Mobile, AL. and resident of Chunchula, AL. died March 18, 2011. She worked as a housekeeper and operated a cleaning service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Velma Bentley; sister, Wanda Howard; and brothers, Colan Bentley and Alton Bentley. She is survived by her daughter, Mary S. McCook of Chunchula, AL.; son, Edward Lawrence McCook of Chunchula, AL.; brothers, J.C. Bentley of Brooksville, MS. and Luke Bentley of Chunchula, AL.; sisters, Jessie Lavera Coleman of Turnerville, AL., Tammie Walker of Citronelle, AL. and Dot Knapp of Fairford, AL.; and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the 2 PM Funeral Service on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Norman officiating. Interment will be in Lambert Cemetery.
