Ashley Michelle Cole

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ashley Michelle Cole, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend. Ashley's life was tragically cut short on October 22, 2023, at Springhill Memorial Hospital. She was just 34 years old.

Ashley will be remembered for her kind-heartedness and loving nature. She had an abundance of friends who often described her as caring and compassionate. Her presence could light up a room and bring joy to those around her. Ashley had a way of making everyone feel special and loved.

Born on September 6, 1989, Ashley embraced life with passion and enthusiasm. She had a zest for adventure and loved being outdoors. Whether it was going to the river or enjoying sightseeing trips, Ashley found solace in nature's beauty. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends, creating cherished memories that will forever be treasured.

One of Ashley's greatest joys in life was being a wonderful mother to her three sons, Ricardo Ramirez, Jose Ramirez, and Billy Weaver. They were the center of her universe, and she took pride in raising them with love and devotion. Ashley and Justin's heart swelled with excitement when they discovered they were expecting their first baby girl—Deanna Faith Erkhart—who sadly preceded her mother in death on October 22, 2023. Though they never got the chance to hold their baby sister in their arms, Ashley's sons were deeply proud of their role as big brothers.

Ashley's warm presence will be dearly missed by her family. She is survived by her parents, Wilmer Leigh Cole and Sue Dearmon; brother, Kevin Dearmon (Carrie); boyfriend, Justin Erkhart; uncles, Clarence Dearmon (Carolyn), Jimmy Ray Dearmon, Bobby John Dearmon (Kim), Ricky Whittington; as well as many other relatives and friends who loved her unconditionally.

Along with her daughter, Deanna Faith, Ashley is preceded in death by her father, Ben Cole, Sr.; grandparents, Nathan and Thelma Dearmon; and uncles, Jerry Wayne Dearmon, William Dearmon, Billy Dearmon, and Billy Lathan. Although Ashley's brightest light has been extinguished too soon, she leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and warmth that will continue to touch the lives of all who knew her.

A wake will be held for Ashley and Deanna Faith on October 26, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle, Alabama. Their funeral service will take place the following day, October 27, 2023 at New Bethel Holiness Church beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow in Silas Jones Cemetery in Millry, Alabama.

In this time of grief and mourning, let us come together as a community to celebrate Ashley and Deanna Faith. May their spirit live on in our hearts forever and may we find solace in the memories shared.
