Aubrey Collins Weaver, affectionately known to many as "CACA," was born on November 16, 1957, and departed this life on November 13, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He lived a life marked by dedication, hard work, and an unwavering commitment to his loved ones.
Aubrey had a distinguished career as a professional carpenter and a first-class pipefitter with Local 119, where he took immense pride in his craftsmanship. His work was a reflection of his personality—wise, trustworthy, caring, loving, and industrious. Those who had the pleasure of working alongside him enjoyed not only his skills but also his positive spirit and dedication.
Aubrey was an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying hunting and fishing in his leisure time. He was particularly passionate about football, proudly supporting the Alabama Crimson Tide and the New Orleans Saints, as well as basketball. These interests provided him not only joy but also opportunities to bond with family and friends.
His greatest achievements were not just professional but also personal, as spending time with his children and grandchildren brought him immense joy and fulfillment. He was a devoted father to his children: Kevin Weaver (Yesenia), Sheree Weaver (Henry), Virgil Weaver (Jennifer), Mary Lofton (Joseph), and Thomas Weaver (Kristal). He cherished his role as a grandfather to Abbey, Katelynn, Savannah, Joseph, Daylon, Taylyn, Aubriana, Mariana, Ellee, Evan, Mariana, Cassie, Jacob, Uriah, Sattin, and Cash, who were the light of his life.
Aubrey's family also includes his beloved sister, Debra Corrine Snow (Jackie), and brother, Robert Back (Brandy). He held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews, including Eva Back Reed (Erbert), Norma Jean Back, Jaclyn Stringer (Shane), and Jenny Snow-Weaver (Dr. Tony), as well as his special nephew, Jacob Snow. He is survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of relatives and friends who will all miss him dearly. Also, the family would like to give a special thanks to Cheryl's children and family for their love and support throughout the years.
Aubrey was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Weaver; mother, Mary Echols; brothers, Ernest Back, George Back, James Cloid Back, and Chester Rivers; and his companion of 23 years, Cheryl Weaver.
