Bertha Lee Jones

Bertha Lee Hyatt Jones, 92, a native and resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 at Springhill Medical Center. She was a homemaker and member of Charity Chapel Jesus Name Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Bertha Hyatt; husband, Boyd Jones; grandson, Bubba Cola; siblings, John Hyatt, Bill Hyatt, James Hyatt, Floyd Hyatt, Bobby Hyatt, Peggy Dickinson and Ethel Taylor.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Johnny Dean Jones (Joan), Ruth Bruhl and Wanda Cola; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Clara Alford, Dorothy Sylva, Ann McMillon and Mary Taylor; other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2pm until the 3pm Funeral Service on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. James Cole and Rev. Irvin Reed officiating.
