Betty Farmer Byrd, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023, at her home. She was 77 years old. Betty was a lifelong member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, traveling, Christmas Time, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Stella Farmer; brothers, George Farmer, and Mikel Rivers; sister, Lilly Bell Sullivan; and special nephew, John Farmer.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 60 years, Leon Byrd; daughters, Tammy Taylor (Darrell), Penny Byrd, Kimberly Weaver (Richard), and Janice Rivers (Johnny); son, Randy Farmer; grandchildren, Marcus, Colby, Katie, Carlton, Delia, Andrew, Kristen, Mallory, Jordan, Karen, Cariana, Nick, Jay, Joe, and Laura; fourteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Hazel Weaver (Glen), Maeola Allen, Shirley Farmer, Ensley Farmer (Jamie), Diane McDaniels (Wahoo), and Judy Weaver (Lamaze); brother, Wallace Rivers (Lynn); other relatives; and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1pm until the 2pm funeral service Friday, February 03, 2023, at Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Shaw, Rev. Dean Hopkins, and Rev.
