Billy Joe Odell, Sr.

Billy Joe Odell, Sr., 69, a native of Fayette, Alabama and resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Providence Hospital. Billy Joe served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was very proud of his service. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 164 and a truck driver for American Tire for 19 years. Billy Joe was a talented musician and played keyboard for the New Season Band for over 25 years. Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Billy Joe Odell, Jr. (Robin) and Paul Michael Odell (Brooke); four grandchildren, Billy Joe III, Hayden, Taylor and Cressley; brothers, Benjamin Odell, Jr. and Thomas Wayne Odell; sister, Patricia Ann Huff; beloved dog, Odie; other relatives and friends. The Graveside Service will be 11am Friday, May 6, 2016 at Pine Crest Cemetery in Citronelle with Rev. Stan Clayton officiating.
