Bobbie Jean Yow, a resident of McIntosh, Alabama, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023. She was 84 years old. Bobbie was a loving wife, mother, and sister, and a true friend to her friends. She was a faithful member of Reed's Chapel Baptist Church and spent 30 years working for the government and helped many veterans and active service men and women with their military pay problems. Bobbie was fun loving and outgoing. Most of all, she was loyal to a fault. In her spare time, Bobbie enjoyed being an avid Alabama fan. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her father, Robert Hall; mother, Josephine Usey Tillman; sisters, Agnes Oliver, Lottie Walley, and Betty Hughes; and grandmother, Estelle Usey.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Robert “Bob” Yow, a veteran of the United States Air Force; children, Elisabeth Ann Dillingham (Jason) and Melinda Renee Senear; honorary son, Eric Redmond-Yow; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews; siblings, Tommy Otto Tillman, Jr., Dorothy Elaine Collins, and Robert Ford Hall, Jr., a verteran of the United States Navy; other relatives; and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2pm until the 3pm funeral service Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Reed’s Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Orso officiating. Burial will follow in Reed’s Chapel Cemetery.
