Bobby Joe Dove

Mr. Bobby Joe “BeJay” Dove, 49, a native of Ocala, Florida and resident of Mt. Vernon, Alabama passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014 at his home. He was an interior designer, enjoyed decorating, especially for holidays and was a member of Sims Chapel Holiness Church. Bobby loved spending time with family and friends. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Barbara T. Sullivan; three sisters, Mary (Ronnie) Johnston, Patricia (Kenneth) Lamar and Dora (Bryan) Taylor; seven nieces & nephews, Teddy (Raven) Walker, Sr., Courtney Byrd, Jimmy Walker, Jr., O’Bryan Taylor, Kaleb Taylor, Pacey Taylor and Kamry Taylor; six great nieces and nephews, Precious, Stilyne, Jayceton, Diznee, Teddy, Jr. and Blake; other relatives and friends. The wake will be from 6-9pm Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2pm on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Byrd and Rev. Willie Long officiating. Burial will be in Byrd Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James E. Taylor, Teddy Walker, Sr., William O. Taylor, Kaleb R. Taylor, Larry Lofton and Alan Weaver.
