Bobby Joe Ganus

Bobby Joe Ganus, age 73, of Chunchula, AL died Thursday, June 25, 2009, at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Bobby was of the Baptist faith and served in the U S Army. He was employed as Senior Inspector with Thompson Engineering Firm where he had worked for over fifty two years. He was preceded in death by his parents Leroy Mac & Betty Elizabeth Ganus and brother Mac Ray Ganus. He is survived by his wife Vermel Ganus; Four Daughters, Deborah Ganus of Eight Mile, AL, Deena Marie (Gilbert) Craft of Prairieville, LA, Diane (Dan) Presley of Chunchula, AL & Nita (Joe) Bertagnolli of Spanish Fort, AL, Two Sons, Bobby Lee (Sonya) Ganus & Michael Ray (Michelle) Ganus both of Chunchula, AL, Ten grandchildren, Tiffani, Alicia, Daniel, Joshua, Coty, Ethan, Hunter, Megan, Fisher & Mickayla, Two Sisters, Shirley Renfroe of Aquilla, AL & Janie Whittington of Eight Mile, AL. The family will receive friends 4 PM to 8 PM Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Lott Road Church of God in Eight Mile. Visitation will be held Monday, June 29, 2009 10 AM until the 11 AM funeral service at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS. Interment will be at North Oak Grove Cemetery in Aquilla, AL with Rev.
