Bobby Nolan Whitten, age 73, of Malcolm, AL., died Thursday, April 29, 2010, at a local hospital. He was retired from AKZO Chemical after 23 years of service. He also was a Park Ranger for Cater Jenkins for 3 years. He was a member of Living Word Church. He also was a member of the Citronelle Masonic Lodge #630 F&AM and the Abba Temple Shriners, Scottish Rite. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, camping, gardening, grilling and barbeques. He is survived by his wife, Mertice Whitten of Malcolm, AL; Two Sons, Dewayne (Teri) Leggett of Citronelle, AL and Gerry (Tracy) Whitten of Turnerville, AL; Five Grandchildren, Brandi (Christopher) Lynch, Brandon (Allyson) Leggett, Brittany Leggett, Mathew Whitten, and Melissa Whitten; Two Great Grandchildren, Anden Lynch and Bryer Leggett. The family will receive friends from 2 PM until the 3 PM Funeral Service on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Living Word Church with Rev. Marcus Hobbs officiating.
