Bonita "Bonnie" Blankinchip, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully at home on October 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 14, 1953, Bonnie brought joy and laughter to the lives of those who knew her. Her vibrant personality was characterized by her kind and loving nature, making her a cherished member of her family and community.

Bonnie was known as a delightful prankster and was very outspoken, always ready to share a laugh or surprise those around her with her playful spirit. In addition to her humor, she had a passion for her nieces and nephews, raising chickens and indulging in various crafts, activities that brought her immense happiness and a sense of fulfillment. She was also a gifted singer and loved singing at her church for her church family.

She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Belinda Dianne Evans, Jacquelyn Denmark (Al), Brenda Faye Breland, and Joseph Allen Blankinchip (Kim). Bonnie's family legacy continues through her numerous nieces and nephews, along with her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other relatives and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Bonnie's proudest accomplishments were her relationships with her family and friends, which served as a testament to her loving nature and the bonds she nurtured throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her father, ML "Jack" Blankinchip, and her mother, Willie Rae Beard Blankinchip.

In honor of her memory, a visitation will be held on October 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service at New Home Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Cemetery in Leakesville, Mississippi.

As family and friends come together to celebrate Bonnie's life, they will remember her infectious laughter, the joy she brought to their lives, and the love she so freely gave. She will be dearly missed, yet her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be given to her siblings for funeral expenses.

In no specific order, pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be Freddie Breland, Orland McLeod, Dustin McLeod, Carson McLeod, Rockey Pierce, Matthew Nichelson, Allen Denmark, Blake Blankinchip, and Dillon Blankkinchip.
