Brenda Elizabeth Reed

Brenda Elizabeth Reed, 55, a resident of McIntosh, Alabama, passed away Monday, January, 11, 2016, at North Mobile Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. Brenda was a long time member of Magnolia Holiness Church and loved spending time with her friends. Brenda loved games such as Yahtzee and enjoyed watching New Orleans Saints and Alabama football. Brenda also enjoyed going to the casinos. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Lindberg Reed and her sister, Audrey Elaine Reed Ferguson. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Stephen Russell Byrd; granddaughters, Cheyenne, Kira, and Taryn; mother, Willie Mae Reed; sisters, Rita (Vernon) Snow, Josephine (Larry) Reed, Ruby Glendean (Mark) Frazier, Lynda (Robert) Johnson, Tiffany (James) Rivers, and Misty (Tyrell) Vice; and brother Clarence (Michelle) Reed; a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for Brenda will begin 6pm Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at Magnolia Holiness Church. The funeral service will be 2pm Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Magnolia Holiness Church with Rev. Oliver Koen, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Reed’s Chapel Cemetery.
