Calvin Edward “Eddie” Gardner, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019 at his home. Eddie proudly served in the United States Army and later became an Ironworker. He was a member of Ironworkers Local #798. He loved to play the guitar, sing, and watch Alabama football. He also loved to make quarter bets with his aunt, Bonnie. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Esau Gardner and grandson, Cameron Eli Gardner. Those left to cherish his memory includes his wife, Marilyn Gardner; mother, Sarah Gardner; children, Calvin Edward Gardner, Jr. and Christopher Everette Gardner; grandchildren, Garrison, Grayson, Caylee, Griffin, Lottie, and Christin; siblings, Sherrie McIntyre, Donna Ruffin, and Wanda Hall; special niece, Lexie and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm funeral service on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Bro. Preston Parnell officiating.
