Carla Joan Heathcoe Maples

Carla Joan Heathcoe Maples, age 70, a native of Citronelle, AL and resident of Satsuma, AL, died Monday, December 21, 2009 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Noland Frank Maples, Sr. She was a member of Shelton Beach Road Baptist Church. She worked as a telecommunicator at International Paper Mill. She is survived by her son, Noland Frank Maples, Jr. and daughter, Mitzi Maples (Joel) Pate, all of Mobile, AL; her grandchildren, Miranda (Jonah) Dismukes and Tucker (Peter) Kelley, all of Mobile; her mom, Barbara Patrick of Citronelle, AL; a very special aunt, Lillie Cole of Foley, AL; her brothers, Arnold Dean (Sandy) Heathcoe of Semmes, AL, Eric (Judy) Heathcoe of Copeland, AL, and Michael Heathcoe of Citronelle, AL; sister, Judy (Bubba) Mason of Citronelle, AL; step sisters, Rose (Earl) Janssen of Foley, AL, Alfreda (Ed) Chancery, and Dottie (Harvey) Boothe of Citronelle; sister-cousins, Mable Greer of Chickasaw, Sue Gilbert of Byron, GA, Gerri Cruthirds of Daphne, Maisie Stokes of Satsuma, JoAnn Maples of Mobile, Lyndal Reid of Semmes, Shirley Loper and Faye Patrick, both of Citronelle, and Bethel Clayton of Birmingham, AL; brother-cousins, Joe Greer of Semmes, Bruce Greer of Saraland, Mike Cole and John Cole, both of Foley, AL, Doy Cole of Atlanta, GA, Boyd Cole of Daphne, Noel Cole of Mobile and Billy Cole of Cantonement, FL; brother-in-law, James (Faye) Maples of Saraland; Her church family at Shelton Beach Road Baptist Church; many nieces and nephews, one very special, Robin Lynn Parden of Millry, AL. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until the 11:00 AM Funeral Service at Shelton Beach Road Baptist Church in Saraland on Saturday, December 26, 2009 with Rev. Gary Shockley officiating.
