Carol Nolia Reid, age 80, of Charity Chapel, Alabama, passed away peacefully at home on February 16, 2022. She was a loving mother of four and was most known for her love of the kitchen. She was famous in her community for her ''cat head biscuits and lima beans''.
Nolia was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Clyde G. Reid; son, Kenneth Lamar Reid; and parents, Jeannie and Aimon Cole.
Those left to cherish her memory include her three loving sons, Mike Reid (Judy), Randy Reid (Cynthia), and Earl Reid (Cathy); grandchildren, Jamie Reid, Jancey Richardson (Shawn), Phillip Reid, Megann Carlisle (Russell), Christopher Reid (Kelsey), and Dustin Reid; great-grandchildren, Emily, James-Michael, Caden, Ryder, Ellah, and Reid; one great-great-grandson, baby Reid, on the way; and many other relatives and friends.
A wake will be held for Nolia from 6pm until 9pm Friday, February 18, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 11am Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Charity Chapel Jesus Name Church with Rev. Johnny Helveston and Rev. James Cole officiating.
