Carrell Anne Cannon, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, October 06, 2021, at Providence Hospital. She was 79 years old. Carrell was born in Texas on January 12, 1942. She was a talented dancer who especially loved ballroom dancing. Carrell was a faithful lifelong member of Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and she was passionate about her Catholic faith and The Right to Life. She was also a volunteer of The Visitation Monastery in Mobile. Carrell was a vital and caring member of the community, always willing to help those in need. Carrell was preceded in death by her son, Tony Flynn; mother, Nan Beasley; and brothers, Paul and Bill Beasley. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 30 years, Stephen Cannon; stepchildren, Stephen Sean Cannon (Sabina), Charles Cannon (Laura), and Jennifer Cannon Paradise; special friend, Sue Newburn; cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. The family will receive friends from 12pm until 1pm with Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday, October 09, 2021, at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Rev. John Coghlan, celebrant. Burial will be at Saint Thomas Aquinas Cemetery with reception following in the Parish Hall. Memorials may be made to St. Cecilia's Building Fund or St. Thomas Cemetery Fund.
