Catherine  Marie Evans

Catherine Marie Evans, 47, of Citronelle, Alabama passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 at a local hospital. She worked for Church’s Chicken for many years along with other businesses in Citronelle, Alabama. Known for her contagious smile, she never met a stranger. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. Cathy’s favorite past time was cheering for the University of Alabama, “Roll Tide!” She was preceded in death by her father, Jerrel Glendon Evans. Left to cherish her memory is mother, Joyce Graves; sons, Evan (Kristi) Newburn, B.J. Newburn, Chris (Donna) Newburn and Jason (Anja) Newburn; husband, Charles Reed, Jr.; eight grandchildren, Baylie, Krishlyn, Ethan, Paige, Tyler, Kristeina, J.P. and Kaylee; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 12 pm until the 1 pm funeral service on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. John G. Helveston officiating.
