Cecil Curtis Odom, Jr., 72, passed away Friday, March 6, 2020 after a battle with cancer at a local healthcare facility. Curtis served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran and was a member of the VFW Post 7320 in Saraland, Alabama. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Alabama Dog Hunters Association and loved his beagles. BeeBop loved being around family and friends and he kept them laughing with his storytelling. Curtis was preceded in death by his daughter, Jillian; and his parents, Cecil C. Odom, Sr. and Louise Odom. Those left to cherish his memory his children, Jason Scott and Ashley; siblings, Barbara, Jimmie, Kay and Charles; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, March 16, 2020 from 1pm until 2pm at Freeman Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held after the visitation at Pine Crest Cemetery in Citronelle.
