Cecil Earl Moore

Cecil Earl Moore, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, March 22, 2019. He was 86 years old. Cecil was born June 21, 1932. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was aboard the USS Diamond Head ship. Cecil was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Gemma Mary Moore; parents, Henry and Edna Moore; and companion, Mary Rita Yanatsis. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Michael Moore (Kathryn), Jeanette Moore, Roslyn Rivera (Robert), Cecilia Zavestoski (John), Angela Patraw, and David Moore (Sharon); grandchildren, Michael, Gabriel, Joshua Lloyd, Adam, Alexis, Bryan, Mark, Alyson, Christine, and Megan; and other relatives and friends. Mass of the Resurrection will be held for Cecil at 11am Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Rev. John Coghlan, celebrant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
