Charles "Chuck" Lavon Ellis, Jr.

Charles Lavon “Chuck” Ellis, Jr., a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. He was 66 years old. Chuck was a good man who loved to spend time with his family, and was an avid Alabama Football fan. He worked as an operator at Kimberly-Clark for 28 years until he retired.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Geanie Ellis, Sr.; brother, Michael; and sister, Janice. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 39 years, Doretta Ellis; brother, Ricky; a host of nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Lois, Maxine, and Kathy; and other relatives and friends.

A wake will be held for Chuck from 6pm until 9pm Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Bethel Baptist Church. The funeral Service will be held 11am Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
