Charles Searcy

It is with great sadness that the family of Charles “Chuck” Harold Searcy announces his passing after a long fight with terminal illness. He passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the age of 57 years old with his closest family by his side. He was a resident of McIntosh, Alabama, and formerly lived in Chickasaw, Alabama where he worked as a security guard and raised his family. Charles will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 20 years, Delphine and their five children, Amber (Kevin), India (Saul), Chad (Heather), Holland (Mikayla), and Jamie (Danny). Charles will also be fondly remembered by his seven grandchildren, Zoey, Sabrina, Charity, Chad Jr., Holland Jr., Amelia, and Grant; also by his sister, Sherry (Arnie) Holland and his brother Wayne (Ann) Searcy. Charles was preceded in death by his mother Mary Searcy and his father Devon Searcy. A wake will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. at Freeman Funeral Home,19180 Center St, Citronelle, AL 36522. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Reed’s Chapel Baptist Church, Topton Road, McIntosh, AL 36553 with Brother Chad Orso and Bro. Van Johnston officiating.
