Chris Lucas Weaver Jr, 32, of Saraland, Alabama returned to his heavenly home on March 20, 2022.
Born to Chris and Lettie Weaver on January 25th, 1990, Chris was raised in McIntosh where he spent his childhood playing with cousins & friends, and his love for all things sports began to bloom.
Before graduating from Leroy High School in 2008, Chris led the school to multiple state championships in both baseball and football before going on to play college baseball, where he earned a degree in Electronics and Instrumentations from Alabama Southern.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving father, son and brother- Chris had a deep understanding of God's word and profound love for Jesus Christ.
Chris was preceded in death by grandparents: Clara Mae & Roger Weaver, Josephine Weaver and Uncles Clay & Daryl Weaver. Chris was survived by his parents; fiancé, Jordan Carr; two sons, Weston and Dawson. Sister; Christine (Leroy) Connolly, nieces and nephew; Whitley Lofton, Alyssa, LeShawn and Jayden Connolly; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.
A visitation will be held for Chris Lucas Weaver Jr. on Thursday , March 24, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home from 6pm - 9pm. The funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday , March 25, 2022 at Reeds Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Orso officiating. Burial to follow at Reeds Chapel Cemetery
