Clarence Ronald Graves, a resident of McIntosh, Alabama, passed away Friday, November 03, 2017, in Mobile, Alabama. He was 81 years old. Clarence was born in Blacksburg, Virginia, on February 15, 1936, to Walter and Rose Graves. After school, Clarence joined the United States Air Force. He received a bachelor’s degree from Upper Iowa University. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Jeanne Graves; daughter, Susan Hyde (David); stepson Wes Hodge (Karen); grandchildren, Sara Duke, Luke Hyde, and Hannah Hyde; brothers, Walter P. Graves, Bill Graves, and Terrence Graves; sister, Elaine Schaefer; sister in law, Dottye Warner (Steve); brother in law, Ed Taylor (Olivia); a host of nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Sims Chapel United Methodist Church from 10am until the 11am funeral service Monday, November 06, 2017 with Rev. Otis Lister.
