Clifford Wayne Evans

Mr. Clifford Wayne “Honeydo” Evans departed this life on May 25, 2019, at his home in Mount Vernon. He was 77 years old. Clifford was a graduate of Baker High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Navy and Army. After his service, Wayne became a truck driver, which he retired from. Wayne loved collecting knives and guns. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Clifford was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Herring; his father, Clifford W. Evans; and daughter, Cynthia Evans. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Martha Evans; devoted sons, Ray Lofton, Otis Byrd (Susie), Jessie Ketchum (Pat), Kevin Ketchum (Morgan), and Terry Ketchum; a devoted daughter, Beverly Lee (Doug); twenty grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
