Cloyd Rivers, Jr., 55, a resident of Eight Mile, AL passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014 at his residence. “Wildman” worked driving trucks in the timber, freight and tanker business. He was known for his ability as a mechanic and helped many people with their vehicles. He leaves behind sons, Mitch (Geri) Sampson, Travis Rivers; daughter, Sable Rivers; brothers, Kesler Weaver, Wayne Rivers, Johnny Rivers; sister, Irene Jordan; 1 grandson, 6 granddaughters; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, March 10, 2014 at Freeman Funeral Home from 1pm until the 2pm funeral service with burial to follow at Byrd Cemetery.
