Colby Tyton Ketchum, a resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama, passed away December 28, 2022. He was 18 years old. Colby enjoyed listening to music and podcasts. He loved to learn new things and was always willing to learn and listen. Colby also enjoyed playing video games. Most of all, Colby loved to spend time with his family.
Colby was preceded in death by his brother, Case Ketchum; his grandparents, Ricky Taylor and Wayne Evans; and great-grandparents, Jerry Taylor and Ollie Taylor.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Jennifer Taylor; father, Jesse Ketchum; siblings, Trent Ketchum and Crimson Allday; grandparents, Regina Taylor and Martha Evans; niece, Haven Ketchum; a host of cousins; other relatives; and friends.
The family will receive friends from 9am until the 10am funeral service Wednesday, January 04, 2023, at Simple House of Praise Church with Rev. Dean Hopkins and Rev. Dunford Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Byrd Cemetery. Pallbearers include Ray Lofton, Kevin Ketchum, Terry Ketchum, Mark Stanley, Ray Hopkins, and Chad Taylor.
