Collins Reid

Collins Reid, 65, a native of Purvis, Mississippi and a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at his residence. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a Vietnam veteran. Collins worked as a boilermaker Supervisor. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, LaDonnis Heckman; sons, Nickalaus Reid and Sloan Reid; step-sons, Jamie Heckman and Chad Heckman; eight grandchildren; brothers, Carmen Chambliss, Conrad Reid, John Herman Meinhardt, Jr., Walter Meinhardt; sisters, Ida Walker and Roma Etheridge; other relatives and friends. A wake will be held 6-9pm Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Freeman Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 10am Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the chapel of Freeman Funeral Home with Rev.
