Cora Diane Davis

Mrs. Cora Diane Davis, 54, of Mt. Vernon, Alabama passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. She was homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Bertha Mae Davis; her daughter, Kayla; sister, Juanita Reed. Left to cherish her memory is husband, Fairon Davis; daughters, Sheena (Chuck) Orso and Santana Davis; son, Grady Davis; three grandchildren, Dakota, Dacaden and Dakayson; sisters, Velma Sullivan, Loria Sullivan, Judy Byrd, Loretta Byrd, Priscilla Byrd and Alice Criswell; brothers, Vern Davis and Frank Davis, Jr. The wake will be from 6-9 pm Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11 am Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Shalom Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Morton and Rev. Irving Reed. Interment will be in Byrd Cemetery.
