Craig ''Junebug'' Stewart, Jr., a resident of Charity Chapel, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022. His life was tragically taken way to soon. He was 35 years old. ''Junebug'' spent the last five years in Louisiana as a roofer where he recently mastered in sheet metal. His coworkers became like family to him. He was very goofy and energetic. He was always joking around, being the life of the party and his smile could light up any room he walked in to. Growing up he loved music and being around friends, but most of all, he loved his family. To know Craig was to love him. He had a heart of gold and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Craig Stewart, Sr.; his ''pawpaw'', Henry Hodges, Sr.; and sister, Serena Stewart.
Those left to cherish his memory include his fiancé, Starla O'Neal; daughter, Sierra Smith; mother, Rebecca Hodges; ''mawmaw'', Anola Hodges; brother, Steve Stewart; sisters, Amy Stewart and Emily Stewart Geddes; aunt, Theresa Hodges Skeene; uncle, Henry ''Stump'' Hodges, Jr.; a host of cousins who were raised like siblings; many friends who were more like family; and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 9 am until the 11 am funeral service, at Full Gospel Tabernacle with Bro. Teddy Hunter and Bro. Mike Reid officiating.
