Dana Jeanine Byrd

Dana Jeanine Byrd, age 29, a native of Mobile and resident of Mount Vernon died Thursday, October 15, 2009. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. She was a housewife and mother. She is survived by her son, Gilberto Stanley Munguia of Mount Vernon; Her parents, Stanley and Sheila Kay Byrd, Jr. of Mt. Vernon; Two Sisters, Marley Byrd (Timothy) Burleson and Kelsey Durham, both of Mount Vernon; Her Grandparents, Vermell Byrd and Terry Harris of Fairford, AL and Richard and Ola Davis of Mt. Vernon, AL; One Niece, Fancy Burleson; Eight Uncles and Seven Aunts, all of Mt. Vernon; Best Friends, Hollie Valladares, Robin Weaver and Bobbie Byrd, all of Mt. Vernon; And many other friends and relatives. A Rosary will be recited at 5:30 PM on Sunday, October, 18, 2009 with the Wake beginning at 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle, AL. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Mt. Vernon at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 19, 2009 with Rev. John Coghlan as Celebrant. Interment will be at Byrd Cemetery in Mount Vernon, AL.
