David Allen James

David Allen James, age 55, born in Seminole, Texas and a resident of Citronelle, AL, died Saturday, April 11, 2009 at an area medical facility. David served in the US Army during Vietnam War, worked as a tool pusher in the oilfield and was a member of Charity Chapel Jesus Name Church. He is survived by his Mother- Bobbie J. Meinhardt of Citronelle Three Daughters, Lisa Sullivan of Mobile, AL Leslie James and Lacey Turner both of Sylacauga, AL One Sister, Jamie Higby of Montgomery, AL Four Brothers, Pat James of Saraland, AL Michael James of Citronelle, AL Robin Meinhardt of Saraland, AL Roger Meinhardt of Citronelle, AL Six grandchildren A wake will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Memorial Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at Memorial Baptist Church at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 16, 2009 , Rev. Marcus Hobbs officiating. Interment will be at Brethren Cemetery in Citronelle.
