Deborah Elizabeth Turner

Deborah Elizabeth Turner, a cherished matriarch known for her giving spirit and unwavering love for her family, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on September 2, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on March 3, 1951, Deborah was a devoted homemaker whose warmth and kindness resonated with all who crossed her path.

Throughout her life, her smile could light up any room and was a testament to her sweet and loving personality. Deborah found joy in the simplest of pleasures, whether it was traveling to new places, antiquing during leisurely weekends, or scouring yard sales for hidden treasures. Her passion for cooking brought family members together, creating cherished memories around the dinner table.

Deborah's greatest pride was her family. She loved spending time with her children, Gail Dungan and Janice Lofton (Greg), as well as her beloved grandson, Devin Dungan. She truly exemplified selflessness; often putting the needs of others before her own and ensuring her loved ones always felt cared for and valued.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and siblings, Kay Burge, Sarena Davis (Ray), and Sharon Powell (Sammy), along with numerous relatives and friends who were fortunate to experience her loving nature. Her legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.

Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Edward Turner; her parents, Jack and Gwen Hearn; and siblings, Darlene Hickman and Melissa Prastina. The impact she made throughout her life will resonate for generations to come, and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
