Debra Ann Chestang

Debra Ann Chestang, a resident of McIntosh, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was 54 years old. Debra was a loving mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to the Lord and her family.  She was a longtime member of Hillspring Holiness Church, and her favorite pastime was spending time with her family.  Debra will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Debra was preceded in death by her husband, David Chestang; mother, Rebecca Chestang; father, Howard Weaver; step father, Ralph Chestang; sister, Renea Weaver; and many other loved ones.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Batt Chestang, Blake Chestang (Sarah), and Jason Chestang; grandchildren, Matt Dylan and Addi Blake; sister, Sherry Reed; brothers, Wayne Weaver (Rebecca), Joey Weaver (Tonya), and Chris Weaver (Misty); step sisters, Diane Sullivan (Joe), Faye Smith (Aubrey), and Kay Daniels (Mike); step brother, George Chestang; special nephew, Caleb Davis; other relatives; and friends.

A wake will be held for Debra beginning at 6pm Friday, April 14, 2023, at Hillspring Holiness Church.  The funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Hillspring Holiness Church with Rev. Waylon Havens officiating.  Burial will follow in Hillspring Cemetery.  Pallbearers include Rickey Chestang, BJ Chestang, Keith Chestang, Josh Reed, Justin Reed, and Mallie Reed with Caleb Davis, Buck Weaver, Clarence Reed, Spanky Chestang, and Malcome Covington as honorary pallbearers.
