Dorothy Boothe Malone

Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Boothe Malone, 86, a native of Chunchula, Alabama and resident of Citronelle, Alabama died peacefully at her home. She was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing for her family and others in the community and attended Gulfcrest Baptist Church and Whatley Holiness Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Sherley Malone. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Butch Malone; two daughters, Francis Cooley and Ann Blair; three brothers, Grady Boothe, Leon Boothe and Harvey Boothe; sister, Carol Dueitt; eight grandchildren, Wynette, Jan, Felice, Francine, Misty, Chanda, Christi and Cassandra; twelve great grandchildren; one great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Stan Clayton and Rev. David Tarvin officiating.
