Dorothy Hennis Outerbridge

Mrs. Dorothy Louise Hennis Outerbridge, 78, a native of Laton Hill, Alabama and resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away June 19, 2013, one day before her 79th birthday. She was an insurance agent for many years. Mrs. Outerbridge volunteered countless hours as a Girl Scout and Cub Scout Leader, President of PTA and at Eisenhower Medical Center and Providence Hospital. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, and was an avid bowler. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy. She is survived by her son, Lance Outerbridge; two brothers, Robert Lee Hennis and Leo Hennis; sister, Faye Perry; four grandchildren, Jacob, Kelsey, Camille and Jesse; one great grandchild, Arianne; other relatives and friends. The Wake will be from 5-8 pm Friday, June 21, 2013 at Freeman Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 11 am Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Four Points Baptist Church with Rev. David Perry officiating. Interment will be in Grace Williams Cemetery in Fruitdale, Alabama.
