Douglas Mcauthor Evans, Sr.

Douglas McAuthor Evans, Sr., 64, a native of Mobile, Alabama and a resident of Fairford, Alabama passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015 at his daughter’s residence surrounded by family and friends. He was a member of Bethel Lighthouse of Prayer Church in Fairford, Alabama. Douglas was co-owned and operated L & D Timber Company for 30 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 46 years, Vallery Nadine Evans; daughters, Shannon Evans “Andy” Wilson and Lisa “Bo” Sullivan; son Doug “Tara” Evans; grandchildren, Blake, Drew, Payton, Caleb, Katelyn, Braxton and Jonathan; brothers, Reynolds “Dianne” Evans and Lester “Marilyn” Evans; sister, Joyce “Burns” Ivey; and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 1pm until the 2pm funeral service at Bethel Lighthouse of Prayer Church with Rev. Dwight Weaver, Rev. C. J. Byrd and Rev.
