Dunford Lester Weaver

Dunford Lester “D.L.” Weaver, 68, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Springhill Medical Center. He was a retired welder by trade and also worked as a logger. D.L. was a member of Charity Chapel Assembly of God but currently attended Church of the Lord’s Disciples in the Tanner Williams Community. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry and Florence Chestang and mother, Alma Chestang. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Barbara O. Weaver; daughter, Casondra Thomas (John); grandchildren, Destiney Panter (Michael) and Dalton Thomas; step-son, Rodney W. Weaver; sisters, Jane Townson and Annie Faye Simpson; brother, Marion B. “Mel” Weaver; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 11am until the 12pm funeral service on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Magnolia Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
