Earl Stringer of Citronelle peacefully passed April 05, 2019, at his home. He was a member of New Home Baptist Church and enjoyed worshiping, praising, and serving the Lord there. Earl graduated from Citronelle High School and the State Vocational School. He joined the Air Force and served 21 years. He met his wife Beverly while serving in Minnesota. They were married 53 years. Earl also worked for Alabama Power Co. for 15 years. Earl and Beverly loved to travel and visited all 50 states. Fishing, bird watching, and nature were his favorite hobbies. He also had music playing wherever he was. Earl is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Earl and Meryl White Stringer. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Beverly; three sons, Eugene, Shawn, and Shannon (Lisa); grandchildren, Drake, Dalton, Katelynn, Anthony and family, Chris and family, and Morgan; sister, Janice Turner (Sidney); and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends and family from 10am until the 11am funeral service at New Home Baptist Church on Monday, April 08, 2019, with Bro. Jeff Bryan officiating. Interment will be at Brannan Cemetery. Pall bearers include West Turner, Corey Howard, Derrick Howard, Chris Davis, Carl Rowell, Albert Miller, Malcolm Rowell, and Charles Turner.
