Eddie Wayne "Butch" Brown

October 22, 1949 — September 30, 2011

Eddie Wayne "Butch" Brown, 61, a native of Mt. Vernon, AL. and resident of Citronelle, AL., died Friday, September 30, 2011. He retired with 22 years of service in the US Navy, worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding and presently at Austal. He loved fishing, hunting and being up on the river. He is preceded in death by his son, Adam Wayne Brown; brother, Fred Brown and sister, Arlene Cox. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Edmonds Brown; two daughters, Dana Shea Brown and Jacquelyn Amanda Brown Vernon; three brothers, Jackie Brown, Jimmy Brown and Tommy Brown; three sisters, Bobbie Jean Lind, Melva Long and Jerri Freeman; six grandchildren, Christopher, Breanna, Dustin, Hailey, Dylan and Jack; "special" in-laws, Delisha (Jimbo) Bryan & children, Evie and Keff; Frank Vernon; Floyd Weaver and son, Blake. The Wake will be 5 - 8 PM Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Freeman Funeral Home. Graveside Service and interment will be in Edmonds Cemetery at 10 AM Monday, October 3, 2011.
