Mrs. Edna Earle Adams Pugh, 80, a native of Choctaw County, AL and resident of Mount Vernon, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at her residence. She was a Godly woman, a dedicated homemaker, a loving wife to her husband of 58 years, Warren Elroy Pugh, Sr., and a loving mother to her 10 children. She was a great cook and a lady who loved her flowers. She attended Faith Temple Church of God in Mount Vernon. Mrs. Pugh is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Nora Lee Adams; son, Dexter Pugh; daughter, Charlotte Havens; son-in-law, Dale Havens; brother, John L. Adams. She is survived by her husband, Warren Elroy Pugh, Sr. of Mount Vernon; 6 sons, Dale Edward Pugh of Mount Vernon, Warren Pugh, Jr. (Crissy) of Calvert, Jimmy D. Pugh, I of Grove Hill, Marty Pugh (Jody) of Lucedale, MS, Tim Pugh (Brenda Zelaya) of Saraland, David Pugh of Waynesboro, MS; 2 daughters, Wanda Elreta Everett (Franklin) of Citronelle and Donna Phillips (David) of Mount Vernon; 2 brothers, Paul Adams of Moss Point, MS and Shorty Adams (Margaret) of Citronelle; 4 sisters, Faye Watts (S. E.) of Citronelle, Hazel Morgan (Noah) of Grove Hill, Hilda Walker and Katie Adams, both of Mount Vernon; 27 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren; and Special Caregiver, Carollita Williams. Visitation for Mrs. Pugh will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 2, 2011 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle, AL with Rev. Jimmy D. Pugh, II and Rev. David W. Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Mount Vernon Community Cemetery, Mount Vernon, AL.
